What We Learned Tracking 50 SaaS Homepages
We tracked 50 B2B SaaS homepages for three months to see how often they changed hero copy, pricing placement, and primary CTAs. The short answer: more often than you’d think.
Hero messaging changed on average every 6–8 weeks. Pricing links and placement shifted less often but still multiple times a year. Companies that were iterating quickly tended to run more A/B tests and small copy tweaks.
For your own site, that suggests the bar isn’t “set it once and forget it.” Competitors are testing and updating. Staying aware of their moves doesn’t mean copying them—it means knowing when the market is shifting so you can respond on your own terms.
