Why Daily Briefings Beat Weekly Reports

Weekly competitive reports feel reassuring: one big document, everything in one place. The problem is timing. By the time the report lands, the week is over and the next one has already started. You’re always a step behind.

Daily briefings are different. They’re short, focused, and current. You see what changed yesterday, not seven days ago. That makes it easier to spot trends and act before they become obvious to everyone.

The key is keeping each update small. A few headlines, a couple of “worth watching” items, and links to dig deeper. No long narratives—just enough to stay in the loop without drowning in detail.
